I guess the first question is on how tall your pet giraffe 🦒 is?

For these purposes, I am very lucky to have a second floor, but also a first floor porch WITH A ROOF!
The kids can throw food out the window onto the porch roof and it's perfect height for the giraffe.

We have a pulley system from our apartment down to our succah, so I can just lower the food down to the giraffe!

There’s also the balance of your giraffe and your kids.
It is quite costly to feed a giraffe so you do need to make sure your kids are not too much in the way of the giraffe and it has all it needs.

The giraffe of course! Do you think I'll be sticking MY neck out for him?
Abstinence works very well for us. The nearest female giraffe is 30 miles away in a cage in the zoo. It's extremely effective under the circumstances.
For anyone on the (tall) fence, I just want to say that I have never had a problem with my kids not having friends since we got our giraffe. They are easily the most popular kids in the school. Yes it's expensive, but cheaper (and MUCH faster) than therapy.
Added bonus is that nobody thinks it strange that we do the same Shalach Manos theme every year since.
