I just listened to a fascinating shiur on Purim. I am sharing it here because I know many people dread Purim. It's mostly because the YT is probably one of the most misdirected days in the calendar.
If you have some quiet time, I urge you to listen to this shiur by Rabbi Glatstien. It will help you appreciate the incredible gift that is Purim and the wisdom that is in the megilla.

I feel like I need to listen to a shiur on the essence of the day each year, because it's so easy to just get swept up with everything that is NOT about the essence.
