Then nope. Unless there’s already a dehydration concern (not just he hasn’t eaten in 3 hours, but he hasn’t eaten in double the time as usual or hasn’t kept any feedings down or soft spot is sunken)

No.
Sleep. sleep. sleep. It heals them.
But only if your baby isnt boiling hot and fevering or needs to eat.

Make sure baby is hydrated otherwise let them sleep. Their body is doing what it needs to heal.

I once woke up my 5 year old to take Tylenol when she was burning up and she woke up delirious and hallucinating. She was screaming and throwing shoes and totally not herself at all. It was kind of scary. We called her dr on telehealth and they said don’t wake her for meds, this can happen. I guess it depends how old your kid is and what the purpose of waking them is.

They need to sleep in order to heal.

My 5 yr old does that regularly. Dc often falls asleep on the couch-especially Friday night. Every single time dc gets transfered to bed this happens.

No sleep is more important. I’d only do it if they are sleeping a really long time like over 12 hours.

I wouldn't wake, but I've had times where my babies were feeling so sick and I just nursed them the whole night, meaning I just slept with them latched. I would ccasionally tickle their feet or rub their back so they continued nursing, but wouldn't fully wake them.
