I'm on a tight budget but I would like for my room to feel like an oasis and it really just looks bla.
We did not have room for two big beds so we have a full and a twin against a back wall. The linen is matching but I have no headboards.
There is a nighttable between the beds.
I have a small couche in one corner and the other walls have doors to the closets.
The only decorative space I guess is against the wall with our beds.
There is no room for a rug or any freestanding furniture.
Any advice on how to make it nicer?

I am thinking that you should diy an upholstered headboard across the entire wall

There is lots of info on how you can diy this using fabric, bating and cardboard on pinterest and youtube. I would recommend a deep green velvet, but if you give me more info on the color and style of the items you have I can give better recs.

Once you pick a color, white linen, throw pillow, nice rug, nice lamp, nice light fixture.

I am not handy but my husband is.
The night table is a low modern one, wood with grey undertone, I don't know the official color. It has a lamp on it.
The walls are a light grey.
Linen is purple, grey, white and black.
Curtain is purple.
Couch is dark charcoal grey.

I would do gray headboard across the wall. You can also accent that wall with wallpaper or a darker grey paint color.
