Looks like I may be hosting a Purim seuda this year for the first time.

It will be three couples and a few babies/ toddlers. Everyone will be sober and I'm afraid it will be quiet and not much Purim spirit.

Any ideas?

These ideas worked for me:
1)Music can be helpful. Prepare a playlist ahead of time.
2) Food- have some fun things, foods that adults may crave but normally not eat. Franks n blanks, rice crispies treats, any childhood indulgences ppl typically might pass on.
3) Decor. I indulge my later-in-life-discovered love of sparkle and shine with sequin tablecloths, string lights (hung up and also in clear cheap jars over small mirrors), feathers scattered on the table…you can go more demure colors or go really bright. Scatter masks, groggers, whatever on the table.
4) games- I’m not good at arranging games but someone else usually is.

How about a list of ridiculous un- answerable questions.
Think: who will manage the parking during Aliya l’regel
Is a burqa tzanuah
What came first, the chicken or the egg..
I’m not sure what style your crowd is but my brood can get very animated about these kind of stuff

I make fun MOCK-tails and have tiny bottles of gin or vodka on the side that who ever wants.
Examples:
Limonana
Bloody Mary
Piña Colada
Strawberry Daquari
Something citrusy

I make 2 BIG 3L. Bottles and have ingredients ready to make a last minute batch

I buy fun shaped glasses to drink it from

I hang mini graggers from the chandelier, using fishing wire.
