Hi
Please recommend therapists youve had experience with for my bright but rigid 5 yr old who presents with anxiety (preseverative, negative comments, overthinking) who takes insurance in the bklyn area.

Hi
You can call relief for targeted referrals.
In brooklyn Ohel has a specialized early childhood clinic.
In general only clinics accept insurance.
For young children parent/child therapy is more helpful as you can provide emotional support and healing relationship for your child.
You can use an out of network therapist and request a single case agreement from your insurance.
You can dm me for more info on PCT or insurance authorizations.
I have also worked with various clinics and can try to help you identify what would be best fit for you.

Try to find someone who practices PCIT. The parenting part is extremely important. Then play Therapy and/or sandtray
