Here are the criteria.

Anglo, but not too crowded like RBS. Ideally where everyone is not living on top of each other.

Affordable, (I know that’s relative but I definitely can’t afford anything in RBS).

Ideally a warm community with a choice of schools and Shuls.

Bais Yaakov schools.

Anglo charedi (so DH wears colored shirts, we have filtered phones , DH works, kids watch some movies that we carefully monitor, we are very spiritual but dress like normal American Bais Yaakov).

Anyone have ideas for us of where to go?

Thanks I was reading the threads about that. I’m not sure though didn’t sound like there was much doing in the American charedi young family scene there.

To clarify children are 12-2

Ugh ok. I just don’t think we can realistically afford RBs. (We need at least 3 bedrooms). Also coming from out of town so kids are used to more space…

And I know of a few who hated it. Everyone Anglo I know who moved there moved away shortly after.

And I know quite a few that lived there many years. I'm in Karmiel for 3.5 years. Very happy.

OP get in touch by email with Kim Bash. She deals with property all over.
Maybe she can guide you to certain areas that you can afford and have an English speaking presence.

What's your budget? How do you know you "definitely " can't afford RBS.
Can you live in RBS if you don't have a car? You will need a car in most other places which have cheaper real estate so it will probably be a wash.

Because RBS is expensive I know that (I have family in BS). Also don’t really want to live so crowded like that.

I also get nauseous on the bus so I’m going to need to live somewhere that having a car is convenient.

Your oldest is 12. That really limits where you can move. You need to move to an area that has schools that know how to deal with Jr high olim.

Right…

So if RBS is out where do I go?

I just don’t think we can deal with the crowding of RBS and the cost probably

Op, what is your budget? That may help narrow the possibilities more.
