I have a few boys in Tzitzis and still not sure how often they should be washed and worn. Can you let me know your Tzitzis cleaning routine? How often do your boys wear a pair of Tzitzis before washing them? Do you wear a separate one at night or keep on the same from the day? Talking about little boys Tzitzis not wool. Thanks!

My son’s tzitzis go in the hamper on a nightly basis. I mean, between them hanging down while he’s in the bathroom to his extremely challenged table manners, it’s not even a question in my opinion. Hopefully as he gets older he’ll improve in those areas. He doesn’t sleep in them, but puts on a fresh pair in the morning.

My kids like undershirt tzitzis. I feel like they need to get washed everyday, but I know some boys wear them more often before washing.
If your kids are wearing cotton tzitzis over an undershirt, they can definitely be worn multiple times before washing. How often will depend on how dirty they get and if they are worn tucked in or not.
I use the magen tzitzit to wash them. I believe they lasted longest with this method.

I stick each pair into an individual mesh bag. Throw in to a regular load. Hang to dry.

I wrap each ones strings around the body of it and place several in a washing bag and put it on the delicate cycle. I wash them every few days since they wear a fresh pair daily.
