In Israel yes.
More original, unike Yosef or Moshe, but completely normal and acceptable.

Yes, I know of at least 2 little hillels in Lakewood and nothing seems unusual about the name

Definitely mainstream but not common. Nobody would bat an eye at it , but odds are he wouldn’t have another in his class.
