New mom. DH is going to speak to rabbi closer to pesach but wondering if it’s a simple thing we just don’t know. Is all formula ok? I know it’s kitnios and will have to wash in bathroom.
Do I need to buy new bottles? Or make sure the formula we use is ok?

I remember making the formula bottles in the bathroom all pesach. It was very annoying but it was only for a week.

You can use formula, but some hold that you shouldn't prepare the bottles in the kitchen or on a table you use on pesach.

Most are Kitniyos. I buy new bottles and wash in bathroom sink.

Either new bottles or talk to your Rav about kashering (some say yes and some say no), in the bathroom sink. All main formulas are just kitniyos because grains are an allergen and not in baby formula

Besides for being kitniyos, some companies do a special pesach run to make sure there are no other grains in those batches

We buy new bottles and wash and prepare bottles out of the kitchen. If we need hot water, we get from the kitchen in a hot cup and take it out to make the bottle.

We were told no need for new bottles since we’re only using them for formula in the bathroom sink. With new or old new bottles you still can’t put them on any Kosher for Pesach tables or counters so it’s an annoying week.

This is expensive but it's my Pesach present to myself.
I buy the ready to feed 8oz bottles for Pesach and just get new nipples washed out in the bathroom.
It makes life so much more easier.

Brilliant! I find rtf isn't so helpful though when you have a kid who insists on warm bottles.
I bought myself a small shelving unit with 3 shelves to keep formula and supplies on outside the kitchen.
