buying new shabbos plates.
should I rather go with the ones that have silver in it so it goes better with flatware?
if you have gold in plates would it make more sense to have gold design on flatware?
in general - is it nicer to go with silver for everything, for eg seder table
silver engraved wine cups, seder plate glass and silver,
candlesticks and tray and becher are silver.
is silver more....

We recently upgraded to new shabbos dishes that have a gold rim and bought new flatware that was also gold to match. Other things on the table are still silver like the becher and serving dishes but I’m ok with that.

but the flatware, makes more sense to have gold in it.

I think if you are buying a real set, it's better to match.
I'll use gold rimmed plastic plates with my silverware. But I wouldn't get new plates that don't match.
You can still have accent dishes that are gold.

I would invest in a nice gold set now and get silver flatware when your ready personally I think gold is richer and goes well with real silver becher, salt holder etc.
