Has anyone ever had such a situation before? My child rubbed it on their skin and now the area is red and painful. Is it a chemical burn? Abrasion? Any ideas what I can do. Besides hide them better

Yes my kid did it too. Was painful but went away on its own I believe.

Thanks for those who replied. Seems like one to one still not sure what it is. Amother tan do u remember how long it took? Did u use any creams?
