I bought this sieve. Meant for a lab. Is it OK to use this for soup? (The smallest 60 mesh food sieves available are 6 inches, and this is 4 inches, which works with my containers.)

I like to use a fine mesh sieve for chicken soup. I was looking for one that fits right over the 2 lb containers, as the one I have is a spoon and takes very long to carefully use as a strainer for a large pot of soup. This fits perfectly.

Many professional kitchens use food-safe J cloth. Since I have started using this, my soups are super super clear
