There was just a thread about it a few days ago. It seems to be a lace but folded over so not as totally flat.
That's my understanding, someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

It’s a skin top wig and at the edge of forehead there is a thin strip of ribbon with hair sewn into it. So it lays super flat and makes the front look more natural. No lace at all- folded lace is something else.
