My baby is now 17m. He weighs about 20lbs, and is somewhere between 30”-32”. I’ve never done this with a kid this age before, what is a good, safe, not heavy sleep sack to use?

You mean sleep sack or a swaddle? A swaddle really isn’t safe once they start rolling over

Sorry you’re right, I meant sleep sack. I’m just so used to saying swaddle :-)

Is that sold on Amazon?
Edit: I found it, is there one with open hands? He will not like not being able to use his hands.

So here’s my issue….weight wise he needs a smaller size, but height wise he needs a bigger size. So which do I go with?

I assume height. You want it to be long enough for his feet

I used the halo sleep sack with all my kids, they make different ones depending how warm or cool his room is…fleece, cotton…they’re the best!

We love burts bees sleep sacks. My 14 month old loves the heavier quilted ones, but we also have lightweight ones.
And go according to height not weight.
