Going to be traveling internationally with a 4 month old baby. I’ll be taking the bugaboo butterfly travel stroller. I’m hoping I’ll be allowed to stow it on top of the overhead bins. I wanted to know if anyone’s ever traveled with it and was allowed to do that ? Also if it’s necessary to buy the transport bag for the stroller as well.
Also if anyone has any tips in general for traveling with babies , anything I should bring…
Thank you !

It's considered a carry on bag, so as long as you're allowed a carry on it will be fine. You don't need a cover unless you want to cover it.

Assuming you won’t be buying the baby a seat, and since a bassinet is not guaranteed (and frankly when I flew internationally with my 4 month old for pesach she didn’t like the bassinet at all) definitely bring a good carrier. Also bring one change of outfit for every 3 hours (just in case of blow out/spit up etc)! And more diapers, bottles/formula (if you use. I did) than you think you need. Also bring a change of clothes for YOU (since blowout and spit up can and will easily get on you too)

Giving a bottle during takeoff and landing helps with babies ears popping.
