My 10 year old has a headache and sore throat all day and suddenly developed itchiness and red faint dots all over his legs, arms and stomach.
I attached a photo I found online that looks similar.
What could it be? Is it an urgent matter? Can I let him go to sleep?

He’s also allergic to pollen and was taking cetrizine for a few weeks. Just stopped taking it yesterday. Coincidence? Is it a histamine flair up?

Help.

Help.

Looks like it might be scarlet fever- untreated strep.

Wow, I googled scarlet fever and it appears likely. Can it wait to be treated tomorrow?

I can only call if it’s an emergency. Is this an emergency?

Don't worry about calling the line. There is a reason they have it. Obviously shouldn't use it for no reason but for something that could be serious but could be nothing, you can definitely call. Hatzlacha and refuah shelaimah.

Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional but
Whenever my child has a rash that looks like this, we ran to pediatrician or urgent care only to be told it's viral and there's nothing to do but wait it out

Take him to the doctor, no one here can for sure tell you to wait it out. Don't wait.
