DC will beH be getting braces Erev Shabbos and I was told that in the beginning you can only tolerate mushed food that you don't have to chew. I usually do roast potatoes, chicken, soup, cholent and dessert. My children are pretty picky and tend to eat the basics. I can give broth for the soup, maybe mashed potatoes instead of roasted but I'm not sure what else. I could do a meat sauce instead of chicken but that's not very Shabbosdik. I have chopped meat and ground chicken. I'd really appreciate ideas.
