Not really sure where to put this.

My husband is disabled and needs an aide.
I was told that I can’t be one and get paid but my kids can.
Someone told me differently that I could get paid to be an aide but they couldn’t give me any more info.
Not really sure who to ask.
For reference I am in NYS.
Does anyone know?

Your kids can be paid through CDPAPP but I don't think a spouse can do it.
