I live in an apartment a few stories up so it's hard for me to go down with every dirty diaper. I use diaper sacks and put them in my trash can. I've tried a few brands but none of them work too well- when I stand next to the trash I can definitely feel the smell. Is there anything that really works?

What are diaper sacks? Do you mean little plastic trash bags?

I find good freezer bags work. you have to let out all the air and then do a good knot.
besides for one company bags I got a couple of yrs ago from England none have worked as well.

I just triple-wrap them and that generally does the trick

I use doggy bags, you can even double, and then put them in my lidded bathroom garbage

I've always used the Sassy diaper Sacks.
Sassy Baby Disposable Diaper Sacks, 200 Count, Packaging may vary https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000.....ss_tl .

They have a perfume that masks the smell.

They didn’t work for me, smell still came through. Right now I double bag but I’d love to find one that masks the smell well.

Dekor pail and bags works very well for me. You do need to empty it every few days, keep the pan clean, and air out the internal bag as needed so it doesn't smell.

Why don't you get a diaper bin instead? Or really any metal garbage can with a lid should hide the smell besides for when you open it

I use plastic shopping bags frkm the grocery store.

Put diapet in, twist a couple times, invert into bag to cover again, twist and knot top.

It does not smell!

Make sure no holes and not a super thin type.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the diaper genie! No little bags needed and the smell doesn't escape.
