Upping my coffee game

I fell into this habit of buying a fancy coffee (or two) every day which I’m trying to kick. Not spending money on a new fancy coffee machine because I think I can honestly be fine with instant. I have a milk frother already, which I’ll use to froth my milk. What syrups or other stuff should I get that will hopefully be cheaper and healthier than what I’ve been getting? Tia!

Torani makes a lot of flavors including some that are sugar free. Starbucks also makes some.

There are good flavored creamers and vegan versions.

There are loads of recipes if you google for clones of the various expensive Starbucks types of drinks.

I like plain coffee with milk so I can’t recommend specifics as the occasional coffee with real cream is my indulgence. ☕️☕️

I was the same way!

In my opinion the best thing (if you like iced lattes) is to buy the fancy coffee cups with the lids from Amazon, makes me feel like I’m getting a fancy coffee and it’s much cheaper

The Starbucks creamers are great and the new Oatly creamers are pretty good

I used to agree with this but pregnancy killed my appreciation for black coffee Sad

and now even worse is that I got myself addicted on the real sugar loaded stuff

Bit of instant grounds at the bottom of a bougie cup. Little bit of hot water to melt the grounds. Loads of ice, caramel sauce all over the cup. Milk (I do almond) , creamer and whip. I’ll list some of my favorites

a pour over is easier and faster than a french press. or get an individual k cup machine. it will pay for itself.

I get all kinds of flavored k cups and flavored ground coffees at discount stores like tj max and marshalls and amazon.

top it with the dairy cholov yisrael whip in the pressurized container and sprinkle cinnamon on top or get a flavored kind to sprinkle on top.

if you like it sweet there are syrups with and without sugar that you can add. you can also get them at discount stores and amazon and the grocery store too.

I love the keurig iced coffee maker (got it on sale for about $50)
There are special kcup pods that are meant for iced coffee, tons of flavors available out there
One of those over ice + a squirt of chocolate syrup-yum!

I put a bit of espresso or just instant coffee with hot water first. Then pour it over ice, fill with milk or oat milk and then put a splash of creamer (experiment to see how much you like)

I’m also a big fan of this one, the caramel is great too, didn’t like the sweet and creamy
