I’m a therapist, working in someone else’s private practice. I’ve been in the field for five years and will be for another two until I can have my own practice. Don’t go into it for the money. I make nothing and ppl think I’m rolling in the dough.

I am a LCSW in private practice with a specialty. I also only charge 200 a session because I don't think my clients can afford more. Coming back from Pesach I am up to 10 clients per week. I wish I could work more hours but that is not the caseload I have now. That gives me about 80k per year. Not bad for a 10 hour work week doing a job I love.

wow I got rly discouraged from pursuing this field!

it was rly my dream but I guess I need to make sense as well
