I'm in a difficult situation and could really use some advice. I owe someone $2,000 and had planned to pay it off with my job, but unfortunately, I lost my job a while ago, and now we're struggling financially. I'm trying to find ways to pay off this debt and wondered if anyone knows of any resources or gemachim in the monsey area or elsewhere that might be able to help? Any advice or leads would be greatly appreciated.

I say this very respectfully and I am very sorry you are in this predicament. Is it possible to just do 10 dollars a week? Cut out something from the food budget. Just to show that you are putting in the effort to pay back the money. That way they aren't resentful. GD willing you will have a surplus very soon!
