the other OP asked about overnight bags for shabbos....I was hoping for an answer to small bag for going out of seminary during the week - what do the girls like? (for reference my daughter will be in zimras)

Are you wondering what’s in style or what is the most practical?
I was in Sem years ago - so I’m not sure if this is helpful.
I think a backpack is the best idea.
Suitcases with wheels won’t last the israel streets. A duffle is annoying to shlep.
A backpack is the easiest. Plus you can bring it onto bus. You don’t need to store it under the bus and risk it getting snatched by someone else.
Best is a backpack with wheels. Call me nerdy

I so appreciate you taking the time to answer - and your tip is great for overnight bags. But what about a small bag/purse for around town? Looking for practical but also within what is in style and what is the "in" thing for the girls next year. Thanks

Whichever she likes that can fit a phone and wallet I guess? Sorry not too helpful.

I assume you mean when the girls go into town. Maybe a cute medium size purse, but big enough for your wallet, all cards, medical and CC. if she buys something, a sandwich, drink, book she can fit it in. Nice design on outside.
