Mazal tov!!
On a very limited budget and my dd is getting married!
Floral/pinkish family
I've tried all gemachim (beside for one, still hopeful)
Does anyone know how much it cost to add sleeves to a sleeveless gown?
Anyone did it and was happy with the results?
Anyone have a gown sitting in their closet that they would rent for cheap or lend out? Size 14 ladies
Located in lakewood!

I had a sleeveless gown that I added sleeves to. Found a nice beaded fabric made of thin mesh and sewed it on only on top, so it was like a cape sleeve. Will probably be way cheaper than adding full sleeves.
Adding a picture to show the idea, (I did the sleeves just past elbow , not long like here)

And you wore it with a shell.
I think I would like real sleeves better and no shell.
Thanks for sharing!
Also if anyone did it, how much did it cost?

Would it be useful to wear a sequined glittery evening jacket over a simple long dress you have already?

You would put a pin or brooch at the neck, to close it.

These are not expensive but nice:

This is a cape. Even easier than a jacket because there are no arm holes. It does not have to fit you correctly, it just goes over the shoulders and fits everybody.

The evening shawls are great, but they can fall off, and need to be pinned on. A cape can't fall off.

You might wear this dress with a cape over it, with the cape worn backwards, opening in the back. The cape is the same front or back.
