When people talk about therapists on Imamother, they talk about how much they make and their hours. For anyone who went to school and finished a masters to become a therapists/counselors, can you please share your personal experience with finding a job and finishing your clinical hours for licensure? And if you aren't licensed yet - please reply if is it because it's hard to get the hours of clinical experience, or because of the exam? Thank you.

Whenever I interviewed, they told em full-time for a therapist is 32 billable hours, not 40. Keep that in mind.

How about I am licensed and work part time as a therapist and the rest of the hours in a different capacity that requires my degree?

Full time is relative to the person and their life. In private practice they say 15+ clients a week is full time.
