Gourmet Glatt North was advertising a few years ago that they're a nut free bakery. But definitely ask again before assuming.
If you need very safe food, No Whey Bake Shop is the way to go.

Thanks! So no restaurant/take out options? My child is visiting on a school trip and he's allergic to nuts, so trying to figure out possibilities.

How old is your child ?
Is he/she traveling alone or going with a school/group?
If they’re going to a specific store then you should call in advance and ask. In such situations, I just send along package danishes that I know my son can eat. It’s not worth taking the risk somewhere where you are not. But most places like pizza stores and bagel stores are really fine. Just calling in advance to know what he can or cannot eat

My daughter has a son allergic to nuts. She once went to Upper Crust (on E Kennedy Blvd) and they accommodated her very very nicely. She was thrilled. She lives out of town and was never able to take her family out to eat till she came to Lakewood.
