Is it right halachically to sell a store credit?

Why not? If you want to get rid of it, why shouldn't you sell it? The store isn't loosing out.

no reason why not. unless you do what my friend did once - she got something used on eBay for $4, returned it tot he company and got full credit. OUCH. Want that on your conscience?
