you really need to ask your Rav. mine says to put the oven on temperature higher than you ever used to bake, or self-clean, for 15 minutes after fully preheated.

My oven takes forever to get to that high temperature (over 500°) so I need to put mine on for 1.5 hours. I have an oven thermometer for this because my oven is off.

Ayor
Some Rabonim say it's allowed some say no and some say it depends on the oven.

I learned you need to wait 24 hours from when the oven was used last for fleishig (or milchig), then clean it out and put it on 550 for an hour.

Ask your LOR

Ask your Rav.
We were told to wait 24 hours till it was last used & then kasher the oven.

Some say as long as it's cool and clean there's no need to wait longer.

I
I learned the wait is only necessary if the oven was dirty. If fleishigs was covered and no spills, kashering via high degree heat for an hour is enough.
Basically, AYR.

Yep, that's what we were told. As long as there are no actual pieces of anything in there, and it cooled down in between, it can then be used for the other.

We only self-clean for Pesach.

Double wrapped chicken is fine, no kashering needed. Chicken is only d'rabanan meat. But ask LOR if you don't feel comfortable, or heat to highest temperature for 50 minutes like others said.

And I would add to this- he is not typically very meikel, so this is not coming from a place of "eh, good enough". He was very clear that this is all it really needs.
