I was hoping we could start an exercise challenge here on Imamother!!

I'm not sure abt the logistics tho so someone else will have to fill in the blanks but I was just thinking that for every minute we exercise we could get a point and then at the end of the week we could see who ends up with the most points?

happy2beamommy- I bet your not as tough as you think! I am def going to rack up the most amount of points!

so heres the deal......very every ten mins you exercise....you add a point to ur tally.

I dont kno if id count lugging laundry up and down stairs as real exercise so how abt it we keep it time that we set aside specifically to exercise?

I'm super tired today. I hate feeling like this. When the kiddies don't sleep.

I am supposed to go to curves later - it's bootcamp night. And I plan on taking a walk with my kids- pushing my 35 pound stroller with my 40 pounds (combined weight) of kids.

And my crunch routine, along with my tush exercises.

But *sigh* I haven't started any of it yet.

At least I'm still sticking to my diet.

I do exercise every morning if not I'd push it off until I'm too tired!

I prefer working out in the morning, but lately it's gotten to the point where I usually go to the gym at night. Most of the classes that I like are too late in the morning and interfere with work.

ok, some of us are less formal about exercise.

I do my ab crunches with both kids up. my kids like to interrupt by climbing on my tummy. I end up playing airplane with my 2 yr old when I'm supposed to be crunching. but airplane is good exercise too...

anyway, I can never time my exercise routine. I'm glad I started it, though, it's extra time on the floor with the kids and they love it. my baby likes to pull up my shirt and lick my stomach. icky, but cute all at the same time.

so while I will not be competing with all you go-getters, I'm proud to say that my stomach muscles are noticeably stronger. and my kids are noticeably happier.

btw, just thought I'd mention that the time spent exercising is not nearly as important as the quality of the exercises. if you're not doing them correctly, you're not going to get much out of them.
