Both in the doubles:
Elite
39 pounds
curved sunshades
lots of extra padding

Classic (I own this)
32 pounds
Squared sunshades
not so padded

This is the main difference. Both have the amazing easy fold feature.

I've taken my double on the subway. From brooklyn to the bronx zoo and back!
I take my 3 year old out and she walks down. Baby is easy to bump down the stairs. I do this alone as well. Normally a random good hearted stranger helps.

I use it everyday for the past 8 months. I just had to repump the tires in Tishrei! for the 1st time.

I LOVE! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE MY CLASSIC STROLLER!

enjoy!

We have the elite (double). Just on the side, I have yet to see another one! Very Happy I'm totally convinced that we're the only ones who have it. to be honest, I don't even know the differences, the reason we got it and not the classic is bec dh didn't like the square sunshade ;D
I hear though, that the classic doesn't have as many pockets/organizers as ours does. Shrug. Big deal!
I do get a lot of good use out of ours- and we're very happy with it.

ik like that teh elite has a magnetic peeekaboo window win the sunshade as opposed to a velcro... if u have a light sleeper you will wake him when u velcro it open but not if you have magnets

this is not the kind of carriage you want if you use subways. It is very heavy, great for walking, not good for going up steps, like in the subway.

guess I've got biceps, cause the shlepping on the stairs doesn't bother me Wink but I'm the type to just do what I've gotta do!
