We are thinking of possibly moving back to the States. Haven’t decided which city/community, but this depends on where DH can get a job hopefully as a community rabbi. Since we’ve been out of US for quite a while I’m a bit rusty about how much things cost. What’s the average range of tuition for jewish day school like these days? Looking for elementary and middle schools, MO but not too ridiculously expensive. Do rabbis get substantial tuition subsidy? Also does anyone know about what the average starting salary for an assistant rabbi is like in MO communities?

Elementary schools are about $12K per kid; high school about $18K. I have heard that my assistant rabbi gets about $70 - 80K per year. I live in a fairly large and well established city.
