sometimes I need a break. I want to go out alone or alone with dh.
my toddler I can still place somewhere for a night or a few hours but my baby- oh my baby won't take a bottle! Is it "too bad'' and I should wait until he gets older or is there something I can do. I feel like I sometimes want a BREAK from the kids. but if I have to take my baby along my outing is not the same.

How old is the baby? Pretty soon (if not already) baby will be able to go 3 - 5 hours without eating. When Rivka was little she wouldn't let me go anywhere either. I would feed her right before going out and not go more than about 15 min. away. If she woke up and got really hysterical, I told the person to call me. Maximum she cried 5 or 10 minutes before I could get home. Not ideal, but not the end of the world either.

Go out at night for two hours. Your baby doesn't have to eat more often then that.

I’ve been spending my days taking 1 hour walks around the neighborhood with baby in the stroller. it feels great and refreshing, and I don’t crave the evenings out anymore so badly. Try it.

it should be fine to leave your baby a couple of hours while you go out. if you feed him right before you leave then you know he is satisfied!

I totaly undrstnd..my baby is 8 months old, wont take a bottle and eats every 2 hours!
