My DS is going to be 3 in a couple of months, and he has perfected the art of climbing out of his crib. He used to only do it on occassion, but now he started doing it every night, I will roll over at 3 am and he is standing near my bed. I don't want to do one of those tent things, I think he is big enough for a bed already and they seem a little visious. But how do I get him not to come out of the bed?? I already bribed him to stay in the crib but that only worked one night?
Any advice is appreciated.

there is really no one answer that will work for anyone. my dd was put into a bed at 1 1/2 or before. she was one of those babies climbing out of cribs and I couldnt deal with it. I got her into the bottom of a bunkbed and for the first few nights- we were laying down with her- till she fell asleep and putting her back in when she woke up at night. eventually it stopped. it wasnt easy. we got her nice linen that she loves, a bar on the side- small that she wont fall but can get in and out- and we started leaving a tape on very low in her room... she just eventually learned how to stay..... good luck...
