this is so weird, im wondering if it happened to anyone else??
I have a 3 yr old maclaren. the handles are made of a rubbery texture... well, my right handle is disintegrating! first it got tiny pinhole-like holes in it. then they grew. its fully pockmarked now. and chunks of rubber are just falling off! the funny thing is, my left handle is perfectly smooth! could it be I sweat different chemicals from my hands?? its the only thing I can think of!
did this happen to you? do you have any idea why its happening to me?

how do you store the stroller? I can picture what you describe. I can't imagine the sweat is the culprit, it's probably the way you store it. one handle is probably more exposed to moisture/sunlight on a regular basis.

I didnt think of that, but it cant be it, cuz the carriage stays inside all day. I use it around the house.

hmmmm.
well, call maclaren. they probably won't give you a free replacement, but stroller replacement parts are usually very cheap.

Last night, I saw your baby climbing out of the crib and chewing the handle to bits. then he went to the bathroom, smeared some makeup around, then he emptied the baby wipes into the toilet, then climbed back into the crib. so now you see, that noise was not all in your head!!!!!!!!!!

you know what? if he would do that, I'd be happy. he is a big baby keh, he is nine months old and still cries to help me turn him over! he knows how to do it on his own, so im not worried, he just has a hard time moving himself around... id like to see some independence! and teethe baby teethe!! let those teeth come already!!!
