I have just about used up my 25 pound bag of flour. Now.
Needless to say, I will not be going out to buy one that large at this time.

The most I ever bought was 5 pounds. I guess you'll have to buy a small bag too.

There is no way I'd buy such a big flour bag, since I store flour in the freezer.

Wow. How often do you bake and for how many people?

I buy it at Costco. It generally lasts 6-8 months, sometimes longer. Right now, there are only 5 of us in the house, but we like to have a lot of guests, and I like to bake cookies that my kids tend to share generously when they have friends over. I store it in our pantry, which stays cool, and b"H, I have not had bug problems with it. I do check regularly, though. (Now, macaroni and cheese boxes, that's another story...)

I've seen them at the regular grocery ... my only concern would be how quick they would get bugs although we use up flour pretty quick around here making bread / pizza / cookies and other goodies ...

We go through one a week, or two weeks at most.
