I took chicken out of my freezer very late last night to defrost and I left it out overnight. I ended up making the chicken at around noonish and it was very cold. Is that ok? I don't want to give anyone food poisoning!

I just did a google search and got this thread on the second page
I took my baked chicken out of the oven at 11pm last night and forgot to put it in fridge until 6:30am this morning. My apartment is definitely colder than room temperature. Can I use it?
