3/4 machine matzah used to be considered the equivalent of 1 slice of bread.

Machine matza is 2 points a board for regular and 1 point a board for whole wheat. Hand shmura tends to be considered whole wheat, so it will really depend how much you eat. If you can find one with an actual nutrition label, we could actually figure it out.

Thank you!!!
Fortunately I'm not crazy about matzah and only have one seder to consider, so hopefully I'll have some points for cake over pesach!!!

How good is your Hebrew?
Go into the Israeli weight watchers site, they will not only have the info on matza but also they will offer KLP recipes.

I did the shmuro matzo calculations years ago and I came up with 4 pts for one whole circular piece.

Shmure depends of the size... tends to be bigger than the square machine ones...

I have NEVER heard 16 or 17. Maybe you were asked to leave weight watchers because you were eating too little.

I'm so glad someone brought this up, since I just joined on Tues. I was considering to wait until after Pesach but figured I'm better off getting started and hopefully will start Pesach a little lighter. I'd feel really bad if all my efforts get derailed over Pesach, so if anyone has any tips or advice of how to make it thru without at least gaining, I'd really appreciate if you share.

I'm kinda wondering how I'm going to lose (or even maintain) on pesach when my favorite pesach treat is schmaltz and gribenes. we call them "chicken chips" in my house.

How can anyone be on 17??? I'm on 20 for another 3lb and then I move down to 18 until goal - but if you're below the weight of 18 you're on maintenance and need to up your points.
