Okay, my 7 yr old ds wants to be "Squirtle" (a turtle Pokemon apparently) so he has a green sweatshirt and needs a cardboard turtle shell. I sat down last night and actually drew turtle shell design on a piece of cardboard, cut it to shape, punched holes, etc, and showed it to him this morning. He says (condescendingly), "Great, but you need to make it brown [I only had white cardboard somehow]". So this morning in the middle of Shabbos preps, etc, I sit down and using a colored pencil (can't find where the kids put the crayons) spend my time coloring the stupid thing brown!

So just how crazy have you gotten with costumes and shalach manos? LOL
We need to give our award Queen

I think the awards have to wait until Erev Purim. 1st prize goes to mommy who stays up till 3 am to finish her costumes and MM.

our community is not very spread out. we just walk up and down the blocks and give to everybody (more or less). with all the kids we can spread out and give a few at a time. we finished with plenty of time-I even had time to check out imamother b4 the seuda Very Happy
