My almost 2 year sleeps with a pacifier and I would like to wean him off of it.
He never has it in his mouth the entire night--usually about an hour after he falls asleep he spits it out and it remains out of his mouth for the remainder of the night.
But now he's been grinding his teeth in his sleep whenever his pacifier is not in his mouth.
Any suggestions?
Anyone know which one is the worse of 2 evils??

My DS is 3.5 and we also have a paci/grinding teeth issue. DS usually starts with his paci, spits it out and grinds his teeth. There are some times when I hear it, I try to put his paci back in his mouth. In my mind, there is two issues. 1- I need to get rid of paci 2- grinding issue. The grinding is going to happen whether there is paci or not, because paci is not staying in the whole night. I spoke to my friend who is a dentist and she felt that there isn't anything that can be done about a child grinding their teeth.
