Bio/non bio washing powder

might be a stupid question, but every time I buy my washing powderin the supermarket I wonder what the difference is between biological and non bio washing powder?
can anyone clarify, thanks

One basic difference is that bio contains enzymes and non bio doesn't.
People with eczema and other skin conditions are generally advised to use non bio as the enzymes in bio can irritate sensitive skin.
It is believed that due to the enzymes bio cleans better but I don't see a whole lot of difference.
