I am searching high and low for dh's cell phone. Ds (1.5 years old) hid it and I can't find it Confused . I keep on asking ds where Abba's phone is but he thinks it is a game so he laughs and plays peek-a-boo. Any ideas how to get a 1.5 year old to tell yeu where he hid something? He understands everything and even obeys commands (bring me your shoes) but is known for hiding objects. It is missing since last night and I must find it. (It is powered off for shabbos so calling it won't help.)

My toddler threw Abba's phone off the mirpeset.

The sim card was picked up by Arab who made a lot of phone calls on our expense. (He had the audacity to get mad at us when we reclaimed the number, claiming we stole his number)...

So, if you think there's a chance it got out of the apartment, get the phone disabled...

check the garbage, mine throws lots of stuff in there. Also in all of her toy things (toy kitchen, bags etc) Also check shoes--she likes to put things in the feet so when I put on my shoes I find surprises

We don't have a mirpeset and he has never thrown anything out the window (yet/that I know of.) I think it is still inside but WHERE?!? I keep the garbage high up since I have lost too many kitchen items that way.

I am soooo frustrated.

try the compartment inside his toy car - that's where I found Abba's keys one time.

Also a no go. I spent my entire day turning the apartment upside down. I did not get anything done and it looks like I'm going to do another round today. All dh's contacts are really important for his job in the summer. I don't know what he will do if the phone doesn't turn up Sad .

I have had this with my cordless a few times.
Once it was found under all my linen in my linen closet. It's a good thing I decided to change my sheets and was searching...
The bimba is also a common hiding place.

My kids have a tendancy of hiding the car keys, so just when you are ready to leave... you are left running around in circles.
Some of their favorite places (never twice the same place, that would be too easy!!):
inside of the toy car (like s/o else said)
in a pile of laundry
mixed in with a box of toys/cars etc
but BH you found it. I totally know how frustrating that is!!

so glad you found it - how did you ever manage to figure that one out?! (another time, our ds put it into a niche under the tabletop - fortunately, we were in the middle of Pesach cleaning. Otherwise, he would have been out of a phone for a long, long, time.)
