my daughter is 6 going on 7 and shes just gone into year 2. her homework has increased considerably and help I just cant cope. whats the best time to do homework.

when she gets home from school shes been in a long journey home and she wants to relax and play. then theres supper bath etc and then before I know it hubbys home for supper.

help.............

when my kids come home from school I give them a snack and a drink and let them relax for about half an hour then they know it´s straight to homework.
There is no playing til homework is done.
6 year olds should have no more than 15 mins of homework.... at least that is what the head at our school says.
