Sorry soggy latkas

I made latkas about 2 hours in advance of dinner, as I didn't want to be busy frying when everyone came home.
I put them in a 250 degree oven.
But they were soggy and nor crunchy at all.
Any advice?
How to make latkas in advance without them turning soggy?

I freeze them and reheat in a hot oven-- 400 until they're sizzling a bit.

Were they covered? Uncovered they shouldn’t get soggy. They won’t be as crispy as fresh fresh though. I think it’s worth the trade off not to be busy with it while everyone else is eating and enjoying Chanukah..

They were uncovered. But they may have gotten soggy even before I put them in the oven.

Put them on cooling racks when done so they're not on top of each other and sitting in piles of oil.
Heat right before on 400 until hot and crisp just a few minimal.
