I knw its fairly common, but what does it mean? I looked it up online bt it said it was SPANISH!

It means the same as the spanish version - Bella - beautiful. I have one.

what's surprising there? Yiddish is very influenced by other languages, and especially by Ladino...

I know a baila who is such a special lady. she really is a baalat chessed! she is part of different organizations and help peoples in many different ways, be it fundraising for devastated families or finding good medical care, etc.. I asked her if she could help a very sick and dear friend of mine and she said that she hopes that she can be a cli to help others, etc.. I am happy to have people like her around.
