I'd go for Talya.

I think it's a beautiful, elegant, feminine name. I love the symbolism of dew. and it's also a name that non-israelis and non frum people can deal with easily, should that be important to you.

Tal-ya (dew from H)
Beautiful
Many Israeli girls don't shorten it and use TalYA.

I dont know any talis but I know lots of talyas.
I think its beautiful Smile!
I love israeli names. I think spelling it "talya" makes the most sense - least chance of someone mis-pronouncing it that way (talia - I have heard - tah-LEE-yah (emphasis on the ee) too many times)

I loved that name ever since I was a little girl because we had a Talia in the class who was so cute & sweet.

My niece is Tali (we call her Tali) because she was born on the day that we start saying vesein tal umatar..

I love the name Talli or Talya (I always presumed it's the same name?)
I wish it was a Chassidishly accepted name.
We have Malya/Molly as Chassidish names and this is pretty similar. Maybe I should be the first one to start the trend Smile .
