Tried & True Green beans with mango
from last week's discussion

large handful of trimmed green beans (frozen or canned are OK too)
fresh garlic or garlic powder to taste
1/4 cup vinegar, Balsamic if possible
3 T water
tsp olive oil
2 T mustard, Dijon if possible
3 T honey
1 fresh mango, peeled & cut up or 1/2 lb dried mango soaked in warm water for 5 mins, cut tiny
slivered nuts, any kind; toasted if possible

If using fresh beans, cook them in water in saucepan until soft. Transfer to Tupperware or serving dish. If using frozen (defrost first) or canned (open your can and); place in dish. Add your cut up mango.

When ready to serve add your nuts to the serving dish. Mix dressing in small container and serve separately.

7-8 coves of garlic for a handful of green beans! I am guessing it is very garlicky.

It is - plus the original recipe calls for one of the powdered salad dressing packets of garlic dressing! but it's great!

I made the original recipe minus the spice pack, last week and my goodness was it garlicky! I would make it again but cut the garlic in half. A real shame... we love garlic but this was outrageous! Our guests had lots of comments on them, some of which set us into fits of laughter!

The recipe sounds delish, thanks for posting!
so it calls for 7-8 cloves of garlic? or did I misread something.

nope, didn't misread anything. Like I said, I'd half the garlic (and we looove the stuff!)
