I'd love to hear advice from other's experienced in this. When taking a 2 year old to daycare or the first time, how long is it a good idea for Mommy to stay with the child? Is it ever better to leave, even if he's crying, so that he'll get used to it?

Actually, at this place they want you to stay the entire time if the child cries when you leave.

The kiddie bus started at 16 mos iirc so my kids always went by bus!!!! They liked it !

Every 2 year old place I've sent has a day ahead when you bring the kid for an hour while you stay for them to get familiar, and then the next day you drop at the door and leave
