Whole cultured yogurt

My Dr. told me to get whole cultured yogurt for my 1yr old who has had diarhea for a month now Sad

Anyone know which brand is chalav yisroel and whole cultured?

Most are live active cultures, check the ingredients. The only whole milk one is Yo Baby and it is not CY.

You can get kosher chewable, Acidopholous by maxi health. It will replace the cultures more effectively then yogurt. You can crush it up if the child cannot chew it.

it's actually easy to make your own using storebought yogurt as a starter.

bring whole milk to a boil, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. cover, let cool to 110 degrees fahrenheit or below. stir in a few tablespoons of storebought plain yogurt. cover again. let it sit out for a day until it's yogurt consistency. you can add honey to make it sweet. or sugar, choc syrup, pancake syrup, make smoothies with it, whatever.
