My DS is almost 11 months and he still does not want anything else than his cereals, yogurts, puree (strained) food and drinks from a cup here and there during the day. B'H' he's growing well.
I'm concerned about his eating habits specially for the future. He is nursed once in the Am before the nap and once in the PM before the night and once or twice during the night (mostly for comfort)
What do you prepare for your DS or DD?
What is a typical day regarding the meals of your baby?
Thank you so much for your help.

Thank you everyone for your answers.
I really thought that we were under parr ie a lot of books say that by this age he should eat what we eat.
I guess I will continue what we are doing and follow his lead!
Thank you

My now 13 month old has been eating finger foods for months. By now he eats everything that an adult eats, except for choking hazards. He gets cheerios, fruits cut up very small, bamba, corn pops, etc. you can start trying to give him corn pops and cheerios, they are easy finger foods.

he is supposed to start on textured food. I started on very soft fresh bread broken into tiny little bites. cheerios actually made me totally nervous. theyre crunchy and too big as a first starter food imho. I felt more comfortable with bread. now my eleven month old loves bread and cream cheese, still in very small pieces, and veggies from soup, and little baby bites of rice or orzo or corn. I really should serve him more chicken: he never gets any unfortunately.

I had been trying to get my 7 month old to try normal textured food for a while but he also refused thick foods and would gag on a small piece of banana. Until we tried crackers. I gave him a cracker that I was eating to see what he would do with it (he was practically begging) ONe of those big ritz type round crackers. Then he figured it out. He started chewing and taking bites. since then he can handle solids. Try giving him something he REALLY likes. Maybe itll work for you too.
